Fish Processing
Care of your catch is an integral part of a good fishing adventure. At Graham Island Sportfishing we will ensure that your wild BC seafood is of the best possible quality at the end of your fishing day by bleeding your catch on the boat and by cleaning it immediately upon reaching the harbour.
From there you are welcome to take your catch home in your own cooler or you can purchase one directly across the street from our dock. The vast majority of our guests, however, choose to have their fish processed at Seapak, a local fish packer specializing in sport caught fish.
Choosing to have your fish processed at Seapak is an affordable way to ensure that your fish will be cared for properly and will look and taste as good as the day you caught it.
We can drop your fish off for you at Seapak after your day on the water and it will be filleted, cut to size based on your specificaiton, vaccuum-packed and blast frozen. This way you can just throw it in the freezer when you get home and know that you will have an amazing product that will stay top-quality for up to a year.
Seapak will store your fish and have it boxed up ready to take home with you at the end of your trip to the Queen Charlottes, or they can ship your fish to you anywhere in North America.
