Estuary Fishing
Casting a line for big, silvery Coho salmon is one of the ultimate thrills in Northwest angling. The water is still warm for wading, the fish are BIG (up to 20 lbs!) and the tackle is light. We offer both spin and fly fishing charters for the mighty Coho salmon from mid-September to mid-October.
Often overlooked by local fishermen, the Queen Charlotte Islands also has an amazing Coastal
Cutthroat trout fishery. With both sea-run and resident strains of Cutthroat available, the fish
vary tremendously in appearance from dime-bright silver to harvest gold. What they all have in
common however, is there penchant for fighting hard and aggressively taking flies. For those who
are not interested in casting flies; not to worry, our Cutthroat also take spinners and small
spoons.
Spend a day or a week plying the beautiful saltwater estuaries with Graham Island Sportfishing for ocean fresh Coho salmon, Coastal Cutthroat trout or both. Better yet, talk to us about a designing a ocean/river package allowing you to sample the best of both worlds!
